Trim Healthy Mama Menu for February

My January menu post was popular and well received. My goal is to help fellow THMers follow this plan and improve their health, which then will improve their lives. Since last month’s menu was popular, I wanted to keep doing this and offering this to the THM community. I try to mix proteins, fuels, flavors, etc. I had a couple comments last time about not having all of the books, so I made this menu with recipes that are all available online. They are all special ingredient free as well. Many of these recipes can be prepped ahead or come together quickly.  I understand the busy lives of families and the need to get food on the table fast.

So many of us are working in a budget and don’t have all day to spend cooking in the kitchen. I want this to be easy, delicious and on plan. Adjust the recipes for your family’s tastes. If your family loves heat, add some. Don’t like garlic, leave it out. Add more salt or pepper. We keep Louisiana hot sauce, Cajun seasoning, red pepper flakes and cayenne in the cabinet so everyone can add more if they want. I am always tasting and adjusting recipes to fit my family’s tastes and our needs. I hope this is helpful to you on your THM journey.
