Cook bacon in skillet until done. Drain on paper towels.
Add drained green beans to skillet. Cook on medium heat.
When hot, add garlic and cook for a minute or two.
Add bacon and Parmesan cheese. Stir and heat through.
Taste. Add salt and pepper if needed. Serve warm with a main dish. Top with red pepper flakes, dried parsley, and extra Parmesan cheese, if desired.
