Fry your bacon in a large skillet over medium heat.
When your bacon is fried, remove from the skillet and place on paper towels.
Dice your onion.
Add to the hot skillet and cook for a few minutes.
Slice your cabbage into small pieces.
Add the cabbage to the skillet with the onion.
Allow to cook, stirring a little here and there.
Season with salt and pepper. Add the vinegar and cooked bacon. Taste and add more salt and pepper as needed.
Serve warm.
