Low Carb Chocolate Mousse
This is a different take on my low carb cheesecake berry fluff recipe. That is my number one recipe that I recommend to new ladies to trim healthy mama. I have never had someone say they didn’t like that recipe. I thought I would change it up and make it chocolate. It turned out great!! You could add chocolate chips to the mixture if you want to. Maybe even a few chopped nuts sprinkled on top! Yum!
These are the ingredients that I used. You don’t have to use the black cacao powder, but I am trying to find different recipes to use it in. I used it in my low carb brownie recipe as well. I only use half or less in recipes, at least so far. I am still learning about this cacao powder and how to use it. You can use whatever sweetener you have. I added a little of my trim healthy mama pure stevia powder because of the cooling affect of the swerve. That is something that my hubby doesn’t like. You will want whatever sweetener you use to be a powdered kind. If you only have granulated, you can use a coffee grinder or a good blender to powder the sweetener.
Do you need a super easy trim healthy mama dessert? This recipe is easy and delicious. It is also hubby approved!! I am trying to find desserts he will eat. This one is a winner! Next up will be a peanut butter pie recipe. I used to make one, pre-trim healthy mama, and it was so delicious. He loves peanut butter so I am hoping I can make a sugar free version that is pretty close. We will be having this mousse today, on Labor Day, but it will be a year round treat for us. And you don’t need a ton either. I am satisfied with a small glass.

Looks yummy! How many servings does it make?
I would say 8 servings, but depends on how large the servings are.
I didn’t have the black stuff so I added more cocoa powder. I also didn’t have gentle sweet so I used stevia baking blend. The 1/2 Cup stevia was a little too much for me. Next time I’ll try to use less. Otherwise it was very delicious. Threw on about 5 Bake Believe chocolate chips for a little extra chocolate goodness. Makes a lot, but doesn’t take much to satisfy that sweet tooth.
