Easy and Delicious Cherry Berry Chia Seed Jam

Ingredients

  • 2 C Frozen Berry Mix I used a cherry berry mix
  • 1/3 C Water
  • 2 T Sweetener, if needed I used allulose
  • 1/2 M-L Juice of a Lemon
  • 2 T Chia Seeds

Instructions

  • Place frozen berries and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and mash. I used a meat masher. After the mixture is has thickened somewhat remove from the heat. Taste and add sweetener to taste.
  • Stir in juice from the lemon and chia seeds.
  • Use as desired. I put mine in the bottom of a bowl and topped with nonfat Greek yogurt mixed with vanilla protein powder.
