Cut up your squash. I like to cut the ends off, slice in half longways and then turn and slice again. You want 4 long strips. And then you can slice into little triangles. Clear as mud?
In a large skillet over medium heat add some olive oil and the squash.. Cook for about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute or two.
Add the seasonings and cook for another minute.
Add the chicken broth and the heavy cream. Stir and cook for a few more minutes.
Once the liquid reduces, a few minutes, add the cheese and chili pepper flakes.
Serve hot with your desired main dish.
