Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Trim Healthy Mama E

This recipe is fall in a glass. It is still hot here but pumpkin spice everything is out. I have been craving a pumpkin spice latte, the kind with sugar, but I know they aren’t good for me. I decided to make a pumpkin pie smoothie instead. Actually, honest confession here, I tried to make a psl and it was terrible. I plan on trying again but still had that craving. Enter this smoothie. It perfectly filled that pumpkin spice craving.

This recipe comes together fast. The longest part of the recipe is putting everything back in the cabinets. This smoothie recipe is special ingredient free. You can add things like mct oil, collagen, chaga mushroom powder, etc. if you have those items. I know a lot of people don’t have those items and shy away from recipes that have them listed as optional. I made this as written but next time I will add my extra ingredients. I like getting as many extra goodies in my food or drinks. If you make this, let me know what you thought. I think it would taste great with a shot of espresso in it as well. A nice morning pick-up or an after workout protein drink. Next time you get groceries, pick up a few cans of pumpkin puree and make this pumpkin spice smoothie.

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Banana, frozen
  • 1/2 C Non-fat Greek Yogurt
  • 1 t Pumpkin Spice
  • 1/2 C Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 t Vanilla
  • 2 Pinches Salt
  • 1/32 t Pure Stevia
  • 1 t Brown Sugar Swerve
  • 1/2 C Ice Cubes, you might want 3/4 c

Instructions

  • Put everything except the ice cubes into your blender and blend.
  • Blend until everything is combined. Add the ice cubes and blend until they are broken up.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy.
