Low Carb Asian Slaw
This low carb, trim healthy mama s, slaw recipe is amazing!!
I made this to go with my Asian pork tenderloin recipe. They were perfect together. My teens loved this Asian slaw recipe. I didn’t have any leftovers. This slaw doesn’t have to be served with the tenderloins. Any Asian inspired meat would be great. Take some chicken breasts, season them, add some Bragg’s or soy sauce to a bag and coat the chicken breasts. You can grill, bake, or skillet fry them.
This Asian slaw is so vibrant and healthy.
The colors in the slaw are just beautiful. I loved how pretty this was. But it isn’t just pretty, it actually tastes amazing!! All of the flavors meld together and make such a flavorful side dish that even sceptics might be won over. My teens have different tastes and it can be difficult to make them all happy with the same meal. This meal, with no cheese or butter, was loved by them all! This slaw is great year round. Don’t save this only for summer, it will be a great side-dish year-round. If you need an Asian flair side, this will be the star of the show.
If you have been around here for a while, you know bell peppers aren’t my favorite, especially when they are raw.
I used 3 of the mini peppers in this recipe. If you like bell peppers, increase the number to 6-8. How I sliced them for the dish is I cut the tops off and then sliced from the top down so I had 2 pieces of equal size. I removed the white parts and the seeds. I then julienned them (I cut them into long thin strips) and then diced them. There wasn’t an overpowering bell pepper to taste, so it was perfect for me. Bell peppers are so good for you and I wished I liked them more. I now know I can hide them in this amazing dish.

Is there a way to keep the flavor profile, but make this an FP or an E?
If you reduced the sesame seed oil to no more than a tablespoon and had no more than a fifth of the recipe, you could use it in any setting.
