Cut up your beef, onions, and bell peppers.
Place in a large skillet or your multi-function cooker, like a foodi or instant pot. Add 1 tablespoon of fat as well. Start browning of medium to medium high heat.
Add your seasonings, garlic, and tomato sauce.
After cooking and browning, transfer to your crockpot. Add the broth. Cook on low 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
After cooking for your time, it should look like this.
Sprinkle the xanthan gum on top. Stir/whisk the best you can so there are no lumps.
It should look like this, nice and thick, but not too thick.
Serve hot however you like.
