My Seriously Healthy/Over-the-top Smoothie Mix
This smoothie mix is so full of amazing, healthy ingredients.
I didn’t know what to call this. So I went with healthy and over-the-top. I think it’s both. I have been asked to create a list of all of the ingredients that I put in our smoothies. It’s a lot! I suggest researching the ingredients, finding out if they are for you (check and make sure that item won’t interfere with any medications you take), and slowly add it to your smoothies.
You definitely don’t have to add everything I do, and you can add more! Whatever works for you.
The more strongly flavored ingredients you add, you will need to add things to cover it up (unless you like the flavor). I find the flavor of ashwagandha, and beetroot powder are pretty strong in flavor.

A couple tips
Take it slow. I didn’t start with all of these at once. I started slow, with one item at a time. I am still researching and looking for things to add (or take away). What I do is make a single (well double since I make two smoothies at once) and measure that amount. Then I create the bulk mix and take that measurement and add to my smoothies. The day of I add kefir, frozen berries, sweetener if needed, blend. And then I add one serving of protein powder.
Since I have a serving of collagen already in the mix, I add one serving of protein powder. That gives my hubby and I 1/2 a serving of each of them. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
Here’s a video where I show what is in my smoothie mix.
First- here are the containers I purchased. Technically these are as close to the ones I purchased that I can find. They must have created a new version.
Dandelion Root Extract
Ashwagandha Powder
Psyllium Husk Powder
Beetroot Powder
Moringa Powder
Spirulina Powder
Raw Cacao Powder
Baobab Powder
Goji Berry Powder
Sunflower Lecithin
This isn’t something I have used for a long time. It tastes great though!
MCT Oil and Collagen Powder
Or Just Collagen- I buy this at Costco
I also bought my kefir grains from Amazon as well. They were amazing.
Do you have amounts for the bulk version or do you just go by the label of serving size x30?
I have gone through your link for a few things that I don’t have. Thanks for putting them up there!
I go by the label serving size. So if something was 1/3 of a tsp and I need 30 servings, I need 10 teaspoons. Sometimes I do the math and figure out how many tablespoons that is, and sometimes my brain has had enough math by that point.
