January Trim Healthy Mama Slow Cooker Menu

Here is a January slow cooker menu in honor of Slow Cooker month!

January has a few other themes for the month, but I love using my slow cooker. It is one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. Here is a brand-new menu full of trim healthy mama recipes for the month of January. As usual, every recipe is special ingredient free, easy, and teen boy and hubby approved. I feed 5 picky people and try to find recipes that they all like.

Many of these recipes are dump and go recipes.

They are so easy to make. Your time in the kitchen is limited to so you can enjoy life without being in the kitchen all day. The above recipe is buffalo ranch chicken. For my hubby, I stuffed the chicken into bell pepper halves, and baked them. You can wrap in lettuce or low carb wraps, serve over on plan pasta, etc. The below recipe is my Mexican Roast taco recipe. I turned the leftovers into taquitos.

I rotate proteins, list the fuels, and include only simple recipes.

This way, beginning mommas can follow the plan and not be confused (or at least help a little).  I try to keep things simple and not complicated. You can buy everything at your local grocery store. The only thing that might be in this menu that might be considered a special ingredient is xanthan gum. I can buy this ingredient at 3 of my local grocery stores (and I live in a small town). And it isn’t required either. It’s just there for thickening sauces. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Below is a link to how I prep my meals for the week.
