Low Carb Creamy Spaghetti Bake

This is a low carb take on an a family favorite recipe.

Everyone loves it and it would be great to take to a gathering. If you have themed weekly menus, add this to your Italian or casserole night. I am sure it will be a huge hit with your family. It is really easy to make and comes together really fast. I do suggest using a large skillet. You will be able to tell by the pictures below that I didn’t use a large enough skillet.

You can also make this during meal prep or in the morning during a free moment.

You might need to bake it for an extra 5 minutes or so since it is cold. I would also make this during my weekend meal prep. This recipe would be a perfect meal to prep and pull out during a busy night.

Because my teens don’t follow the trim healthy mama eating plan, I use regular noodles for them. I divide the recipe in half and use my noodles for one half and regular noodles for the other half. If you whole family eats low carb or thm way of eating, mix everything together and put in a 9×13 dish. Use whatever low carb noodle options you like to use. Add it to your menu for a nice change to regular spaghetti.

Low Carb Creamy Spaghetti Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Hamburger Meat
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1 t `Onion Powder
  • 1 t Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 t Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 t Italian Seasoning
  • 23.6 oz Marinara Sauce I don't know why this is such an odd amount, I get the organic marinara sauce from Aldi
  • 4 oz 1/3 Less fat Cream Cheese
  • 1 C Cottage Cheese
  • 1 1/2 C Shredded Mozzarella
  • Parmesan Cheese to Shake on top
  • Low Carb Spaghetti – equivalent to a box of pasta

Instructions

  • Brown ground meat. Add seasonings.
  • Stir to combine. Add marinara sauce. Stir.
  • Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
  • Add cottage cheese and stir to combine.
  • Add the 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and stir.
  • Stir everything together.
  • Add pasta alternative and stir to coat everything.
  • Pour into a lightly sprayed baking dish.
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Place into a preheated 350 oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven. Cut into squares and serve hot.
