Freezer Friendly- Once A Month Cooking- Recipes

Does dinner time cause you stress?

Do you ever get to 4 pm and not have a plan for dinner? You can prep 5, 10, or even 30 meals in a day. Over 20 years ago I used to do once a month cooking or freezer cooking all the time. I would make dinners, breads, desserts, breakfasts, and snacks. And store in the freezer. I loved having things prepped and ready to go on busy days. Once I started following the trim healthy mama way of eating, this practice seemed to quit. I recently started freezer prepping again.

Here are few tips.

Start with your baggies prelabeled. This is a huge deal. I also like to have them already open. This makes filling them so much easier. Start with a clean kitchen. By the end your kitchen might be a disaster but if you start with it clean, it will help keep it moderately clean. I also like to have all the ingredients out and ready for the recipes. Here is a picture of my last 30 meal freezer prep. I was tired and my kitchen was a mess. My family helped clean it up so I didn’t have to.

Here are links to the recipes that I have used for my once a month cooking.

Some of the are recipes that you can dump in a bag. Some you precook the hamburger meat. I honestly love the dump freezer recipes, those are so easy. I hope this helps you with the question, what’s for dinner?
