Low Carb Slow cooker Pulled BBQ Chicken
This recipe is so easy that you can have everything thrown in the crockpot in 10 minutes. Let is cook all day on low or high for a few hours and have a delicious dinner for your family. Use my tip and shred your chicken in a stand mixer and your chicken will be shredded in a few minutes. Don’t add the liquid to the mixer, unless you want your sauce flying out of the bowl!

Low Carb BBQ Pulled Chicken

- Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 2 Lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 3 8 oz Cans Tomato Sauce
- 2 T Brown Sugar Substitute
- 1 1/2 t Liquid Smoke
- 2 t Minced Garlic
- 1 t Mustard Powder
- 1 T Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 t Smoked Paprika
- 1 T Dried Minced Onion
- 1 t Salt
- 1/2 t Pepper
- 2 T Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 T Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Put everything into the base of the crockpot and mix.
- Add the chicken breasts. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- When the chicken is cooked, shred it however you want.
- Add as much sauce as you want. I leave a little in the base, otherwise it is a little too saucey.
- Serve with whatever bun options you want.
i was needing to ask if i could use mustard from fridge as a sub for mustard powder? Thank you for your help
I think you can. On another recipe that I used mustard powder, a friend use yellow mustard from the fridge and it turned out just fine.
