Our Simplified July Family Dinner Menu

July is hot, busy, and full of summer activities — so dinner needs to be simple. This month’s menu is built around easy THM-friendly meals, crockpot dinners, quick skillet recipes, fresh sides, and family favorites that won’t keep you standing in the kitchen all evening.

You’ll find a mix of satisfying S meals, lighter E meals, and a few crossover options for family nights, cookouts, or meals where you want a little more flexibility. Use this menu as written, or swap meals around to fit your schedule.

My goal is to help you answer the “what’s for dinner?” question before 5 p.m. rolls around.

  • Utilize your slow cooker outdoors on the porch or in the garage on especially humid days to keep all the heat completely out of your home.
  • When making on-plan beans or taco meats, cook a double batch and freeze half for an ultra-fast dinner solution later in the month.
