High Protein- Low Fat Pasta Sauce Trim Healthy Mama Fuel Pull
This high protein, low fat pasta sauce is a trim healthy mama fuel pull and is delicious!
This is another one of those that you really don’t need a recipe to make, but having some measurements is a good starting point. I have been experimenting with cottage cheese lately. I am trying to up my protein intake and cottage cheese is a great place to start. It is high in protein and low in calories. This allows so much play in recipes. I basically made a low-fat and high protein pink pasta sauce. Here’s my original recipe for a low carb pink pasta sauce.
We had this as a fuel pull lunch.
I baked up some chicken tenders as part of my meal prep, so this came together fast. We used dreamfields pasta, but you can use whatever pasta you want. My hubby is pretty picky about the on plan pastas we use. I am really happy with how this turned out. I will add this to my last minute meal ideas. This is just as fast as my low calorie, high protein, trim healthy mama fuel pull alfredo sauce. So, so easy and delicious!
If you aren’t concerned about low calories, use whatever meat you want.
I am not too concerned about calories, but having something like this is needed, is great. It also gives you so many ideas on where to take this recipe. Use veggie pasta and have a high protein sauce with meat. Use a low carb or super low calorie noodle and Italian sausage with some mozzarella on top. The ideas are just about endless. This is a great starting point for a recipe. If you make it, let me know what you think. As written, I would say this serves 3.
