Super easy and delicious Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops- THM S

I am adding this recipe to my fill your freezer Fridays series. This recipe is so incredibly easy. You just season the pork chops and place in your crockpot. This is one of those recipes your kids can help with. In the pictures I used sirloin pork chops. I mistakenly thought they were on sale. Um, they weren’t!

Have you ever had one of those days that didn’t work out just right?

Well, that’s how my day went when we these ranch pork chops. I didn’t think they were cooked through when we got home from a 13 hour day. So I tossed them into a skillet to make sure they were completely cooked. While I was cooking the pork chops I added about 2 oz of cream cheese to the crockpot. After that was mostly cooked, I added about 1/4 cup of heavy cream.

Making the sauce isn’t necessary, but it sort of amped up the flavor.

I also cooked up some mushrooms in the skillet as well. I topped the ranch pork chops with the sauteed mushrooms. Everything ended up working out and tasting perfect! There were no leftovers.

In the picture of the finished plate you can see some potatoes. Again, our day hadn’t quite gone as planned. I needed to finish dinner asap. I used the same skillet to cook some precooked frozen potatoes. This dinner ended up coming together fast and was exactly what we needed.
