Marinated Beef Kabobs Low Carb and THM S
I love grill recipes, especially ones where I get help!!
Kabobs can be time consuming if you do everything yourself. They are almost a novelty item if you are the only one working. If you can, get some help from your family and make the beef kabobs together. My boys and I made them and my hubby grilled them. The time was well spent (I mean they are typical gaming teenage boys and I used this as a time to spend together, they just didn’t know it).
If you have been around here a hot second, you know easy is my word.
First, for the kabob marinade I through all of those ingredients into a gallon ziplock baggie. No bowl for mixing, just put everything into a baggie. I let it marinate for 2 hours. I used the small bell peppers for the peppers in the recipe. They are so easy to work with, especially in a recipe like this. After we had assembled the kabobs, I cut up some extra veggies and put them in the marinade and put them on their own sticks.
If you don’t have metal skewers, you can use the wooden skewers, just soak them for a bit.
I made some chicken kabobs last week and ended up soaking the wooden skewers for at least 12 hours. This time I soaked them for about 2-3 hours and it ended up not really being enough time. The ends burned off. I need to get more of the metal skewers that I have. You don’t have to make the veggie kabobs but it worked out for us. You can serve these with a salad, coleslaw, or any other prep ahead easy side that your family likes.
