Fabulous Filipino Chicken: Trim Healthy Mama E
This Filipino Chicken is fabulous, easy, and a trim healthy mama e recipe
I am always hunting for easy, family approved e recipes. This one was exactly what I was looking for. Hubby has been asking me for more Asian recipes and suggested a Filipino recipe. Of course it needed to be easy, something our sons would love, and taste good. This recipe fit all of those requirements.
I served this over brown rice and millet noodles.
I buy the noodles from Costco but whatever your family will eat and you can find will work. My family ate the noodles I served this dish with and loved it. With so many options out there these days, you might be able to find a great e or fp option at Aldi. If you have a Costco membership, I highly recommend these noodles. My hubby loves them!!
If you are needing some trim healthy mama e inspiration or new recipes, try this one.
I have a hard time finding true e meals that my family will eat. They love thm s and xoer meals, but true e meals can be a bit of a bust. This one was a true winner all the way around. I included bay leaves but they are optional. I bought a big bag on Amazon because they are so good for you and I am trying to find recipes I can add them to. For my brown sugar substitute, I used Brown Swerve. Swerve and Lakanto are my go to sweeteners that I can get at my local stores.
This recipe as written is a crockpot recipe.
You can easily adapt this to be cooked in your crockpot, pressure cooker, pot on the stove, or even in a 9×13 pan in the oven. This recipe is also a great candidate for freezing!! In a baggie add the garlic, Bragg’s, vinegar, bay leaves, and olive oi. Squish around and add the chicken breasts. Seal and place in the freezer. When ready to cook, thaw overnight in the in the fridge, dump contents into whatever pot you are using, and add the rest of the ingredients. So easy!
