Creole Dump Chicken
Another super easy low carb crockpot recipe.
Who needs easy in their life? Both of my hands are raised. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy cooking and providing delicious and healthy food for my family, but I don’t want to live in the kitchen. That’s where dump recipes come in. You can dump everything into a baggie and freeze or into a crockpot or instant pot. I prepped this in one of my freezer prep sessions. As written this isn’t spicy, we added extra creole seasoning on top.
While this doesn’t look pretty, the taste is great.
I know this doesn’t look like much but it was a hit with my family. To show how easy this was when I made it, we dumped the bag into a crockpot and let it cook for 6 hours. I made instant mashed potatoes for the teens and frozen mashed cauliflower for the me and the hubby. It was so good and easy. This is a frugal recipe since chicken thighs are often on sale .79 a pound. If you would prefer chicken breasts, I am sure would be delicious too. If you use white meat, you could turn this into a trim healthy mama e and serve it over brown rice instead. Put this on your menu for the month, for a busy day and you will be rewarded with one of the easiest dinners, outside of delivery.
