The Easiest Low Carb Grilled Ham Steaks
Low Carb, Trim Healthy Mama S, Grilled Ham Steaks
Ham Steaks, or pork chops can be used, marinated for at least an hour, were perfect grilled. We had a hog processed and it came with ham steaks. When I pulled meat out of my freezer for one our weekend grilling sessions, I saw the ham steaks and grabbed them. They turned out perfect. If you don’t have ham steaks, you can use pork chops instead. It will taste great on just about any meat. My family ate all of them up when I served them. They loved them.
I would guess the most used word on my blog is easy.
I am all about easy and coming up with easy recipes. We don’t want to spend all of our time in the kitchen. Cooking our food from scratch, providing healthy meals for our families is a priority to me. I want to make sure that they get something healthy in their bellies but I also don’t want to be chained to the kitchen. Doing some sort of meal prep is a big key in that. I like to marinate 4-5 meats on one day and grill them the next. This way I have the meat for most of my week prepped.
Here is a picture of one of my grilling prep sessions.
I take all of the ingredients, except the meat, and dump it into a baggie and squish everything around. Once the ingredients are combined I add the meat. I move the meat around so everything is coated and then store in the fridge until ready to grill. Absolutely easy meal prep. I can get 5 dinners prepped in less than 15 minutes. give this a try if you are busy and need meals fast. Bonus for me, my hubby usually does the grilling! I hope you give this recipe a try and let me know what you think.
