3rd in My Series 5 Low Carb, THM S Dinners Prepped in an Hour on a Budget
I was really nervous about this week’s menu. I cooked a chicken in a crockpot and then saved some of the chicken and the bones to make broth. Everything ended up working out. I tried to make this list even cheaper but it ended up being really close to $60. If you already have sesame seed oil and soy sauce, that will save you some money. If you don’t like shrimp, buy two things of sausage. That will also save you some money. I also want to add that I know the word budget is relative. I picked $60 because I wanted to have variety in our meals but still keep it low. I also know that people have different dietary standards. Costs aren’t the same around the country. I mostly shop at Aldi and I live in Texas. We don’t have a state tax here either.
