Kielbasa and Cabbage Skillet

Low carb, trim healthy mama s, kielbasa skillet recipe is cheap and easy!

I have been buying pretty much whatever meat Costco has on special. I had a package of kielbasa in the fridge I needed to use in a recipe. This is a really simple, basic recipe but it is delicious. This is such a healthy recipe but tastes so yummy. It is also super fast!! If you don’t have dinner planned but happen to have kielbasa and cabbage, you just figured out your dinner solution.

This was such a huge hit with my family.

My kids ate seconds. They topped theirs with cheese and hot sauce. I topped mine with Tony Caschere’s and nutritional yeast. Something I have done in the past but didn’t this time is to add the small, thin skinned potatoes. If you have hubby’s that love meat and potatoes, add a few that are cut fairly small in the dish. I was in a hurry and didn’t this time and no one complained. You can add in whatever sounds good to you, but for now, I am sharing the basic, no frills, BUT delicious recipe.

This most likely will become a family favorite.

You will love how cheap it is and how quick it comes together. Your family will love how great it tastes. The color of the dish isn’t quote so orange in person. The kielbasa might offer some of the coloring and the smoked paprika, but it wasn’t quite this color to our eyes. Also, the smaller your chop your cabbage, the quicker it cooks. You can also not add the really thick pieces to the skillet, or make sure they aren’t thick pieces as well. Now on to the recipe.

Unless I am missing something, there aren’t any potatoes in this recipe. If I missed something, please let me know.
