Absolutely Amazing Parmesan Chicken Wings- Trim Healthy Mama S

Absolutely Amazing Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings, Trim Healthy Mama S

I haven’t always been a fan of parmesan garlic chicken wings, honestly I didn’t know how my recipe would turn out. Let me just say, delicious!! I made these lemon pepper chicken wings at the same time. They were both delicious! And of course, easy to make. The only thing that was even slightly difficult was spooning on the parmesan garlic sauce on the wings.

Let’s talk the sauce

How I made the sauce isn’t necessary for you to follow to a T. You can substitute mayo or any mayo sub. What did I use? Blended cottage cheese, of course. And it worked great. But, you use whatever you have on hand. Most, if not all parmesan garlic sauces are going to use mayo. I am just trying to find as many uses as I can for blended cottage cheese.

Because the sauce was thick, I spread it on each wing.

If your sauce is thick, like mine was, I had to spread it on the wings instead of toss the wings in the sauce.  How I made it easier is I put multiple wings in the sauce at a time. Since they were hot they were making the sauce easier to spread. You can also add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat. I didn’t this time, but that is a great addition.

There is a secret ingredient added to make the skin crispy.

I used 2 1/2 lb of chicken wings that I trimmed. For the amount of wings I had, I used 1 tablespoon of baking POWDER. The wings turned out mostly crispy. I had a few wings that were bigger and I let them cook an extra minute or two. I also air fried my wings. If your area isn’t ridiculously hot, feel free to turn that oven on. You can also use a skillet if that’s what you want to do.
