Delicious Low Carb, Trim Healthy Mama S Sloppy Joes!!

Low carb, trim healthy mama S Sloppy Joes!

I have had this recipe to post for a long time. I have made it a few times and my family loved it every time. Sloppy joes are the quintessential food of my childhood. It really transends my parents to my kids. It’s simple, easy, and delicious. It doesn’t require special ingredients either. This is the perfect weeknight meal that will make all ages happy.

I prepped this recipe during one of my weekend meal prepping videos.

I sort of cheated and used the frozen seasoning blend. Having some hacks in our kitchens to keep us from living in there is worth it for me. Using the frozen seasoning blend sometimes is absolutely worth it! I don’t think it is quite the same as fresh, but it is close enough. You can use fresh in this recipe, I would use a medium yellow or white, diced.

I found some hamburger buns that worked for this.

I found a brand called Oro Wheat Keto Hamburger Buns. They were pretty good. I have typically used on plan “keto” bread but I was happy that I found a hamburger bun that didn’t have 100 plus% of my daily fiber. I haven’t tried the brand from Costco yet. Every time I look for them, they don’t have any. If you don’t want to spend the money on the buns, just use on plan bread. Add this simple yet classic sloppy joe to your menu soon!
