There are so many broccoli salads out there. You will have to figure out which one is your favorite. I have started using precooked real bacon pieces in place of me cooking bacon and crumbling the pieces up. This saves time and money. That’s a winner in my book I am always looking for ways to get me out of the kitchen and save money.
I used sunflower seeds because they are cheap and I have a big bag. You can use other seeds/nuts, but I like the neutral taste of sunflower seeds. I used swerve confectioners sweetener as my sugar replacement in this recipe. Use what you have and prefer to use. We really like swerve in a lot of our recipes. None of my kids complained, some even went back for seconds. This is going to be a regular side this summer at my house.
