Superfood Kale Smoothie

This recipe is so easy and delicious. You can make the recipe with the basic ingredients, or add some of the extra ingredients that I added. They don’t add flavor, they just boost the health benefits of the smoothie. This is such a refreshing smoothie that comes together so fast, there is not excuse not to make this a couple times a week.

For my protein I used 1/2 serving of collagen and 1/2 serving of plain whey protein powder. Use what you have available. You can even sub out another protein source if you don’t have what I used. I ran out of collagen this week and have been making them with just whey protein powder.

Kale and blueberries are amazing for you! I also added baobab powder, the highest antioxidant on the planet. I added mct oil, brain food and metabolism booster. Sunflower lecithin is great for your brain, liver, and blood pressure. And finally I added chaga mushroom powder. Chaga mushrooms boost your immune system and fights inflammation. Each of these additional foods has much more to offer than I listed. Again, they arent necessary but take this super food smoothie to the next level. I hope you give it a try, with whatever ingredients you have, I think you will love it.

Super food Kale Smoothie, Trim Healthy Mama E


  • Blender


  • 3 C Kale
  • 1 1/2 C Frozen Blueberries
  • 1/2 Servg Collagen
  • 1/2 Servg Plain Whey Protein Powder
  • 1 T Baobab Powder
  • 1 t MCT Oil
  • 1 t Chaga Mushroom Powder
  • 1/2 T Chia Seeds
  • 1/4 t Sunflower Lecithin
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 1 Doonk Stevia
  • 1/2-1 C Unsweetened Almond Milk Depending on how your blueberries blend in,, you might need up to 1 cup of the milk


  • Put everything in your blender, except the whey protein.
  • Blend until everything is blended together, no kale pieces left. Add the protein powder and blend just until combined. Serve immediately.
