Tips for a Successful THM Grilling Season:
Marinades are Your Friend: They add flavor and tenderness without adding unwanted fuels.
Lean Meats for “E” Meals: Opt for chicken breast, lean pork loin, or wild caught salmon or white fish for your “E” meals.
Fattier Meats for “S” Meals: Choose chicken thighs, sirloin, pork chops with a bit more marbling, or add healthy fats like avocado.
Load Up on Non-Starchy Veggies: Bell peppers, onions, zucchini, mushrooms, and asparagus are all fantastic on the grill and fit into any fuel setting. And you can easily through them on your grill as well. Or another option that won’t heat up your house too much is your air fryer.
Don’t Forget the Salsa! Fresh, homemade salsas are a fantastic way to add flavor and moisture to your grilled dishes, especially for “E” meals.
